WHO WE ArE
My name is Michael and I am the Chairman at Shroomate. Shroomate was started, because we wanted to be part of the help in bridging the gap between the wild and home mushroom cultivation on a small scale.
With advancements in agriculture technology for home cultivation both indoor and outdoors in the garden, almost anything is possible.
Using our soon to be patented Shroomate device, we will acquire many points of data from each of our field samples to better help us learn and replicate its substrate in a controlled environment. Upon success, our data, fruits, recipes and liquid cultures will be shared and made available through our monthly and annual membership.
OUr mISSIOn
We go out in the wildernesses of the United States, locate and sample the local mushroom population. We then return to our facilities and replicate our findings inside our laboratory, indoor garden and outdoors. The process and informational data is then shared with our members so that they may use it for their choosing.
We learn by heading into the wilderness during peak season of mushrooms in that location. We setup camp for the night or for a few days and spend our time locating mushrooms, their environments, their soils and more. Upon our departure we will collect our samples to return to our laboratory.
Our goal is to provide more functional and gourmet mushroom varieties for the homegrown setting for personal and sustainable needs.
